Namdhari Seeds Turkey, Field Day
A Field Day was organized by Namdhari Seeds in Turkey on August 15, 2009. It was located in Beylik village in Karacabey, 70 km at west of BURSA. Several hybrids in the following crops were on display: Tomatoes - processing, fresh market determinate and open field indeterminate hybrids, Peppers including Charleston, Demiri and Dolma; Eggplants, Watermelon and Melon. The number of promising competitive hybrids in each of the crops are provided below:
Tomato Fresh Market Determinate - NSX 963, NSX 9887, NSX 9879 and NSX 9276; Dual Purpose - NSX 1054, NSX 9947, NSX 9945 and CAS 17; Very early processing hybrids - NSX 230 and the following with N resistance - NSX 9255, NSX 9225, RTS 66 and RTS 76; Medium maturity processing hybrids - NSX 262, NSX 9953, NSX 9955 and the following with N resistance - RTS 07, NSX 100, NSX 106 and NSX 109; Indeterminate open field - NSX 1025, NSX 1005 and NSX 6320. In Watermelon NSX 61 and NSX 62; Melon Galia hybrid NSX 25.

R&D First Floor Facilities Opened On March 23, 2009
R&D block of Namdhari Seeds Pvt Ltd at Bidadi, Bangalore, India, was expanded further by adding first floor. This is to house state of art technology conference hall to accommodate 100 people. Chambers for two directors. More space to accommodate six breeders and a secretary.
Consequently, the ground floor will have more space for expansion of laboratories of Molecular Biology, Tissue Culture and Plant Pathology.
Expansion of R&D first floor facilities is declared open by cutting the ceremonial ribbon by Dr. V.S.S. Rao, Director Quality Control. Also seen Mr. Uday Singh - Chaiman & Managing Director, Mrs. Uday Singh, Mr. Buta Singh - Director Marketing, Dr. O.P. Dutta - Direcor R&D, Dr.N. Anand - Director Research & Mr. Nateshan, Team Leader.
