N S P L spread its wings beyond the borders of the country in 1999 and thus achieved the distinction of becoming the only Multinational Seed Company of Indian origin. Ltd. in Bangladesh, sister company in Thailand and branch offices in Jordan, Egypt, Vietnam and Indonesia are the testimony to the success story.

A beginning in 1992 with just 7 varieties in three crops to the today's list of more than 127 hybrids among 20 crops is a telltale story of achievements. From a meager turnover of Rs. 28 lakh in 1992-93, the company has grown to a turnover of 150 times in a decade.

Our approach of consumer oriented product development and regular up-gradation of R&D facilities resulted in introduction of leading farmer friendly vegetable seeds. The R&D center which is supported by an ultra modern plant pathology lab providing possibilities of developing disease resistant hybrids, molecular biology lab for marker assisted gene research and DNA mapping for desirable characters, a tissue culture lab to develop triploids in fast multiplication of new products.
